What is Harness Institute?

We train engineering teams to use AI coding agents on code they already have. Gemini.

Harness Institute is the organization behind claudeworkshop.com, cursorworkshop.com, and codexworkshop.com. One team, one methodology, three specialist workshops. Gemini Workshop is part of Harness Institute.

Who is it for?

Teams with a production codebase they need to keep shipping. Two common rooms: long-lived enterprise systems, and newer applications that grew faster than anyone could own. Same methodology in both cases.

We work in your existing repositories, under NDA if needed. Greenfield demo days are not what we do.

Do you work in our existing codebase?

Yes. That is the job. We do not start from a blank demo repo.

How do you keep review from eating the gains?

Spec first. Vertical slices sized to one context window. A fresh session reviews spec and standards as two axes. The author owns the merge.

CI reads the novel. The human reads the evidence.

How long is a training?

At least one full day. Most teams pick one or two days.

We fit the length to your team size, your codebase, and what you want to change. A big rollout becomes a series of sessions.

What is the difference between onsite, offsite, and remote trainings?

Onsite: we come to your office and work in your own setup.

Offsite: we run the training at an external venue, so the team is out of the daily routine for a day or two.

Remote: live sessions over Zoom, for distributed teams.

Same trainers, same exercises, every format hands-on.

What size teams do you train?

From small teams of 5 to 10 developers up to organizations with 100+ engineers.

Large groups get split into smaller cohorts, so the work stays practical for everyone.

What is included?

Work in your own repositories, a method checked into those repos, review habits for AI-written code, and a concrete plan for the next sprint.

Tool setup is a prerequisite, not the offer. You leave with written rules in the codebase, not a folder of notes.

Which tools do you cover?

Gemini. Whichever your team already pays for.

Do we need AI experience?

Licences are usually already there. The gap is a shared method on the existing repo, not a first-day tool tour.

We train teams that already have Gemini, and teams that are still early. Both leave with the same operating model.

Does this work in regulated industries?

Yes. That is our specialty.

We work under NDA, inside your environment, with your approved tools. Nothing leaves your systems. And we write down who signs off on what, so your audit trail holds.

Who leads the training?

Rogier and Vasilis, the two founders. Rogier is CTO at BlueMonks Group and runs agents in production every day. Vasilis is partner at Cognitiv+ and helps regulated teams adopt AI.

Between them they hold official ambassador roles for Claude, Cursor, Codex, and n8n. You train with people who do this work daily, not career trainers.

What happens after the training?

The rules and checklists stay in your repos, so the way of working survives after we leave.

We also offer follow-up sessions, office hours, and support packages if you want us to stay involved.

How much does a private AI coding workshop cost per person?

About USD 1,000 per person for a bespoke team program. About USD 100 per person per training hour for a focused sprint. Those figures are a planning guide from 9 September 2026, not a fixed package.

Ten people in a three-hour sprint is about USD 3,000 before VAT and any separately quoted costs. The proposal sets the agreed scope and total fee. See pricing.
